Arsenal Soccer Schools 3v3 Tournament - Arsenal Training Ground

On the 7th June, Arsenal Soccer Schools hosted the 3v3 tournament at the first team training ground in London Colney.

The 3v3 tournament, which runs yearly, saw some of Arsenal's Soccer Schools from around the world attend and compete in this exclusive and exciting tournament -

Arsenal Soccer School teams from the UK (in regions) were; Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Oxfordshire, Kent, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon, North Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

Our international Arsenal Soccer School teams were; Kuwait, Spain, Greece, Oman and the USA.

Kieron Lewis – Head coach of Arsenal Soccer Schools had this to say about the day...

“The day started brightly with the sunny weather setting the scene for the dazzling football that was about to take place.

From the start of play it was clear to see that all the teams involved had embraced the Arsenal philosophy - short quick passing and combinations were in full flow, as well as plenty of flare and self-expression.

As the day progressed the football standards were maintained. Each game was unique with goals galore and regions/countries showing their interpretation of Playing the Arsenal way."

As the tournament progressed to the knockout stages the excitement grew-

"Two knock out tournaments ran parallel -
1st and 2nd in their groups were placed into the Championship trophy, whilst 3rd and 4th were placed into the Shield competition.

The games were fast, skillful and exiting to watch with each player playing every game as if it was there last!"

Congratulations to the winners - Arsenal Soccer School Middlesex who won the Championship trophy!

Also congratulations to Arsenal Soccer school Lincolnshire who took home the Shield trophy!

There was also a visit from Gunnersaurus who presented all teams with their well-deserved awards for putting on a splendid display of football.

Well done all!
