The Arsenal Way

Arsenal Football Club is one of the leading forces in European football and, with 13 league titles and 10 FA Cup crowns, one of the most decorated in England.

Under Arsène Wenger the Gunners have enjoyed the most successful spell in their 126 year history. Seven major honours, an unbeaten league season in 2003/04 and 15 consecutive seasons in the Champions League have marked Arsenal out as a team that is consistently at the top of its game.

More than anything else though, Arsenal have stood out for the way in which they have played the game under Wenger, with the Frenchman championing a highly technical, passing brand of football.

The manager’s philosophy has filtered right through the Club, to the Arsenal Ladies – England’s most successful women’s team, the youth academy and Arsenal Soccer Schools – the Gunners’ grassroots youth football programme.

Arsenal Soccer Schools have been running programmes since 1985. Starting in the local Islington community, they have now expanded across the world, and give boys and girls of all ability levels the opportunity to learn to play football the Arsenal way wherever they are.
