Plymouth Sign Up To Arsenal Soccer Schools

A Plymouth primary school has become the first in its area to sign up for Arsenal's Soccer Schools scheme.

Victoria Road Primary School will now see 30 of its pupils trained by the Soccer School coaching staff with a programme beginning in September.

After being approached by Arsenal, headteacher Kevin Duggan admitted the opportunity to work with the Club was simply too good to resist.

"We want to provide a provision which is tip top and responds to the needs of children and their talents" he told the Plymouth Herald. "We won't be short of people wanting to do it."

Implemented into the coaching will be skills from each letter of the word 'Arsenal' thought up by pupils from each class.
